USask BHM Learning Community
USask Events
In recognition of the importance of continuous learning and deepening understanding during Black History Month (BHM), the Office of the Provost and Vice-President Academic will host the University of Saskatchewan BHM Learning Community.
Together, we will move through the open access micro-course entitled, “Black Canadians: History, Presence, and Anti-Racist Futures”. This course is offered for free by Dr. W. Andy Knight from the University of Alberta. The micro-course includes modules of readings, videos, and activities.
The USask BHM Learning Community is open to everyone at USask and will meet twice in February to engage with the material we are all learning. Meeting times will be February 11 (for Modules 1-2) and February 25 (for Modules 3-4). We will meet from 12-1 PM in Admin C210 on February 11. Participants can attend these learning community sessions either in person or on-line on February 11.
Please take just a couple of minutes to register for the micro-course here: Black Canadians: History, Presence, and Anti-Racist Futures | University of Alberta
