Black Scholars Research Day is a full-day, hybrid academic and community-facing conference held at the University of Saskatchewan during Black History Month.

The event showcases research excellence, supports workforce development, and advances provincial priorities in health, innovation, education, and inclusive economic growth.
In-person registration includes:
- Lunch
- Poster session
- Industry and networking reception
For those attending virtually, a Zoom link will be sent to registrants prior to the event.
While the symposium highlights the work and contributions of Black researchers, it is open and inclusive, welcoming participants from all backgrounds. The program is designed to promote interdisciplinary dialogue, mentorship, and sustained collaboration across academia, health systems, industry, and community partners.
