Fee Assessment and Refunds
Fees for students using U-STAR Registration are assessed and re-assessed based on the dates transactions are entered by the student.
Fees for students not eligible for U-STAR Registration are assessed at the point of registration. Re-assessments are based on the date Class Change forms, approved by the student's college, are received in the college office.
Students will be charged for classes dropped according to the fee cancellation schedule, and will be charged on a per class basis for any remaining classes. Credits will first be applied to any outstanding balance or to a session in which the student is currently registered. Reassessments are processed on an ongoing basis starting after the payment deadline. Please allow 3-4 weeks after this date for your credit balance to be processed.

A different schedule of fee refunds may apply for classes with non-standard start and end dates and for classes in Spring and Summer Session. Contact Student Central for further details.

Complete Cancellation Fee
As soon as you register for courses, you are responsible for any assessed fees. Please read carefully the information about minimum registration fees, tuition refunds and student responsibility.
If you cancel all your classes by August 15 you will not be charged any fees. If you cancel your entire registration, regardless of term, after August 15 you will be assessed a $60.00 fee or complete cancellation charges on an individual class basis, whichever is greater. This applies even to students who register after August 15 and to those who register for term two only.

Audit Fees
Cancellation fees for audit classes are subject to the cancellation fee schedule. Exception: the fee is non-refundable if a student switched to audit after the 50% cancellation period.
