Application Procedures
The application for admission is online and is available August 1st to January 15th.

www.usask.ca/dentistry/admissions/apply_online.php The application deadline is January 15 of the year in which admission is being sought. Offers of admission are normally made late June. All supporting documentation (except letters of recommendation) must be forwarded directly to Admissions, Student and Enrolment Services, University of Saskatchewan, 105 Administration Place, Saskatoon SK S7N 5A2. The deadline to receive supporting documents is February 15.
Note: Completion of the pre-dentistry program does not guarantee admission. In 2007, the number of entering students was 28 (15 candidates under the Saskatchewan quota with the highest standing and 13 places for other candidates, including other Saskatchewan residents, with the highest standing).
Applicants who have been unsuccessful in gaining adission to the college are required to re-apply each year.
Admission requirements are subject to change from year to year. Enquiries concerning admissions should be directed to the
College of Dentistry.
Transcripts
Applicants must arrange for TWO final, complete official transcripts to be forwarded by the appropriate institution(s) directly to Admissions, Student and Enrolment Services. Applicants who previously attended or are currently attending the University of Saskatchewan are not required to request transcripts as their official record resides with this institution.
Transcripts or statements of standing issued to students are unacceptable.
Applicants who are presently attending classes must ensure that final grades are reported for all first term/semester classes and that second term class registrations are indicated on the transcript for the current academic year.
Applicants who have previously applied for admission should know that if
complete transcripts were submitted with your most recent application, the transcripts are retained in your file for up to TWO years. However, updated transcripts must be requested if you continued attendance at any institution since your last application.
If transcripts/documents are in a language other than English, the applicant must submit an official notarized, word for word, English translation together with original documents. Calendars and/or course descriptions covering the completed courses must also be submitted.
Candidates who are interviewed must arrange for two final and official, complete transcripts (that is, with final marks for the second semester/term for your current registration) to be forwarded directly by the appropriate institution(s) to
Admissions, Student and Enrolment Services.
JUNE 5th is the deadline to receive all final transcripts for candidates who are offered an interview. If the date occurs on a Saturday or Sunday, the deadline automatically becomes 4:30 p.m. the previous Friday.

Postgraduate and Qualifying Programs
The college does not offer post-graduate studies or a qualifying program at this time. The qualifying program is intended for dental graduates from other countries wishing to meet the requirements of the provincial licensing bodies.
