Chemical Engineering
Degrees Offered: Postgraduate Diploma (P.G.D.), M.Eng., M.Sc. and Ph.D.
Admission Qualifications: Bachelor's degree for M.Sc. program; M.Sc. degree for Ph.D. program.
Total Minimum Credit Units Required:
Before registering in any of the following courses, students are advised to contact the head of the department for a list and timetable of courses to be offered in the current academic year.
- P.G.D.: 30 credit units
- Master’s: 12 credit units, including CHE 990, 992, 994, 995, as appropriate
- Ph.D.: 6 credit units, including CHE 990, 996 as appropriate
- Transfer from Master’s to Ph.D.: 21 (18) credit units, including CHE 990, 996
- Core Courses: CHE 990, CHE 994, CHE 996
- Exam Requirements: GRE, Ph.D. Qualifying Exam, and Comprehensive Exam
Residency Requirements:- P.G.D.: 24 months
- Master’s: 24 months
- Ph.D.: 36 months
