Aboriginal Students' Centre
Inclusive in its mandate, the Aboriginal Students’ Centre (ASC) offers a wide range of confidential services to University of Saskatchewan students and their families who are of First Nation, Inuit and Métis ancestry. These services, which are offered free of charge, include: personal advising and referral; community liaison; orientation for new students; liaison with funding agencies; student advocacy; and campus tours focusing on Aboriginal programming and resources. In addition, the ASC offers the following programs and services: Elders’ Services; Mentorship Tutor Program; ASC Student Handbook; Aboriginal First Year Experience Program and special events such as the ASC Family Christmas Party, Aboriginal Awareness Week and Welcome Week Powwow.
