Student Employment and Career Centre
The Student Employment & Career Centre (SECC) is an excellent resource for U of S students and alumni looking for work or exploring career options. The Centre acts as a liaison between employers and students by facilitating summer, permanent, part-time, internship and volunteer opportunities. The SECC coordinates recruitment and student employment activity on campus. Students are encouraged to contact this office early in September to become acquainted with the employment posting and interview procedures. Employment interviews commence in October and continue throughout the regular University terms.
The Centre also provides in-depth career development assistance through its Career Counselling Services, Career Library, Career Fairs, Quick Talk Sessions, and Employability Guides and Workshops. The SECC is located in Lower Marquis Hall and operates from 08:00 to 16:00.
