International Student Office
Students from countries other than Canada are invited to make use of the International Student Office (ISO) for assistance with problems that may be of concern to them.
Advice and information are available in the areas of finance, health coverage, personal problems, orientation, travel, housing, immigration, etc. Students will be met and assisted upon arrival in Saskatoon provided they have notified the ISO well in advance of the exact time of arrival.
The University does not have funds available to assist international students at the undergraduate level nor is housing assistance provided in advance. New arrivals should ensure that they have sufficient funds available to pay for temporary accommodation, more permanent accommodation one month in advance, and tuition, fees and other expenses for the duration of their studies.
Applicants for graduate programs are advised to contact the department in which they wish to study for applications for admission. Undergraduate applicants should contact International
Admissions, Student and Enrolment Services. Other inquiries may be made by contacting the ISO, Room 60 Place Riel Student Centre, University of Saskatchewan, 1 Campus Drive, Saskatoon SK S7N 5A3; Tel: 306-966-4925, Fax: 306-966-7824; Website:
