Parking Services
Parking Regulations are in effect on Campus 24 hours per day, 7 days per week. Parking is not permitted on campus roadways or in non-designated areas at any time. Maximum speed limit on campus is 40 kilometers per hour unless otherwise posted.
There are three student lots available. To park in one of these lots you must purchase a parking permit. Permits are sold by an online lottery. Please see the
Parking Services website for specific details.
Visitor Parking Areas
Pay Lots and meters can be used by anyone, providing the regulations pertaining to their use are adhered to. Meters operate Monday to Friday, 07:00 to 22:00, and Saturday 07:00 to 18:00 hrs or as posted. Hours for Pay Lots are as posted. Please see public parking section on the

Night Parking
All lots are reserved until 22:00 hours., Monday to Thursday. Night permits can be purchased for any non-gated parking lot. These permits can be purchased at the Parking Office or the Kiosk at Place Riel. During the summer (May 1-August 31), all non gated lots may be used free of charge after 1700 hours.
Parking violations are enforced through the Provincial Court system. Charges for non-payment of fines are subject to issuance of summonses and various methods of collection including but not limited to seizure of the vehicle, collection agencies and/or placing a lien against the vehicle to name a few. Failure to appear in court, will result in a DEEMED CONVICTION.
The University assumes no liability for damage to, or theft from vehicles parked on Campus. However, you can help yourself and the Department of Campus Safety by locking valuables in the trunk and ensuring your car is locked. Report any damage or theft from your vehicle to the Department of Campus Safety, Tel: 306-966-5555 (24 hour service).
