Study Abroad
The University of Saskatchewan offers a number of opportunities for students to undertake studies towards a University of Saskatchewan degree outside of Canada and at other Canadian universities.
Exchange
Students may spend one or more terms as visiting students at another university for credit towards their University of Saskatchewan degree program. The University of Saskatchewan has exchanges to over 40 destinations. In addition, the University of Saskatchewan is a member of the National Student Exchange, allowing students to go on exchange to over 170 American universities.
Exchange agreements allow students to spend up to a year at universities in other countries, while obtaining credit towards their University of Saskatchewan degree program. Students who are approved by the University for participation in an exchange program are considered to be full-time students of the University of Saskatchewan during the period of exchange. They are assessed a standard full-time tuition amount at the University of Saskatchewan for each four-month period of exchange, and are responsible for their own travel and accommodation costs. For further information, contact Global Commons, Student and Enrolment Services Division, Room 60, Lower Place Riel.
Term and Taught Abroad
Term and Taught Abroad opportunities exist in several colleges, and normally consist of one or more University of Saskatchewan courses offered overseas in such diverse locations as China, India and Russia. For more information on study abroad opportunities, contact the Global Commons or your
