St. Peter’s College is located 120 kilometres east of Saskatoon, along Highway #5, on the edge of the Village of Muenster. The nearest city is Humboldt, only 11 kilometres away.
St. Peter's College provides a small, friendly, campus atmosphere where students are encouraged, and indeed expected, to engage in the critical dialogue essential to lifelong learning. This is an opportunity to take advantage of your status as a University of Saskatchewan student and enjoy the benefits of the supportive network of a smaller learning community and unique environment.
St. Peter’s College offers a selection of first- and second-year Arts & Science and Commerce courses and a selection of first-year Agriculture and Bioresource courses. Many students attend St. Peter’s to fill the Arts & Science entrance requirements for professional colleges such as Education, Medicine, Pharmacy, Law, Dentistry and Veterinary Medicine. The College also offers specialized programming such as a Writing Diploma and a course in Sustainability.
Small class sizes are maintained to ensure students receive the finest quality instruction. The highly qualified, award-winning faculty is committed to combining academic theory with exciting instructional methods and student-centred learning. This contributes to our students’ success.
The Father James Gray Academic Centre of Excellence (ACE) provides an opportunity for students to receive help from faculty and develop their skills in essay writing, creative writing, research, exam writing, time management, critical thinking and reading comprehension.
Sports teams, clubs, dances, workshops, readings, student government, campus ministry and other activities enhance the student experience. St. Peter's College is a cultural centre for reading, writing, art and sports. St. Peter’s programs services and facilities attract people from the area, and across the nation.
