Three easy (free!) ways to feel better this summer

With help from Lifeworks, USask's Employee and Family Assistance Provider.

1. Get active with LIFT

Moving your body is one of the best ways to enhance your wellbeing. If you’re not sure where to start OR if you’re feeling like your current routine needs a boost, check out LIFT.

Together with a coach, you will develop a fully customized fitness journey. This app makes it fun and easy to get moving – without even having to step outside of your home (if you don’t want to!).

2. Eat well (and enjoy every bite!) with nutrition services

Frustrated with dieting? Confused about what foods to eat (or not eat), and how much and when to eat them?

Consider a holistic and proactive approach to your nutrition by contacting a nutritional expert at LifeWorks. They’ll help you make positive changes to your diet to address weight loss or gain, eating routines and lifestyle changes.

You and your family members also have free, confidential access to registered dietitians who can assess your eating habits, identify dietary concerns, and answer nutrition questions you may have.

3. Connect confidentially with a counsellor

If you or someone in your family is feeling sad, lonely or struggling with an issue, remember that you have confidential access to counsellors and professionals who are ready to listen.

Through LifeWorks, USask’s Employee and Family Assistance Program (EFAP) provider, you and your family can connect with Saskatchewan- and Canadian-based counsellors, all of whom are trained at a Masters-level or higher, to help with:

  • stress, anxiety and depression
  • substance abuse or gambling problems
  • trauma and hurt
  • grief and loss

You and your family members can also access:

  • family support services (including childcare and elder care support)
  • financial support services (including debt and tax management, and retirement planning)
  • legal support services
  • and so much more!

Three ways to connect now — your choice:

  1. Call toll-free: 1-855-575-1740
  2. Go online: lifeworks.com
