Transfers from Other Colleges and Other Post-Secondary Institutions
Applicants who have completed 18 or more credit units of transferable post-secondary level studies may apply to transfer and will be considered if the cumulative average on all courses taken or on the last year(s) average on at least 18 transferable credits is at least 60% and they meet all other admission requirements. Applicants should note, however, that fulfilling the minimum requirements does not guarantee admission.
Admitted applicants transferring from another post-secondary institution will receive a transfer credit evaluation, to be viewed on their PAWS Unofficial Academic Transcript
. This evaluation lists any transfer credits granted based on post-secondary work completed at another institution. Applicants are advised to meet with an advisor in the College to determine the transfer credit applicable to the program of studies being undertaken.
The College of Agriculture and Bioresources is currently reviewing its policies surrounding transfer credit for completed Diploma programs from post-secondary institutions. Transfer agreements are being developed to allow block transfer of credit into specified majors in the College. In some cases minimum average requirements in the diploma may be in place.
