Taking Courses at Another Institution
Visiting Student Status
A student wishing to take one or more courses from another university and receive credit toward a degree from the College of Arts & Science must apply for Visiting Student status. The form is available at
http://arts.usask.ca/forms or from the Undergraduate Office.
Permission to register will be granted under the following conditions:
- The student must have completed at least 6 credit units of Arts & Science courses at the University of Saskatchewan.
- The student must have a C.W.A. of at least 60%.
- Permission must be received from the Undergraduate Office prior to registering for such courses.
- Credit for such courses will be subject to the restrictions listed under Credit for Courses from Other Universities.
Transfer students may also apply for Visiting Student status to take a course at another university, but should be aware that they must meet the
Residenty Regulations to qualify for their degree.
