The College of Nursing
The College of Nursing was established as a school in 1938 and became a college July 1, 1973. Graduates are prepared to give high quality nursing care in all types of general nursing and to fill teaching and supervisory roles after some experience as practitioners.
A variety of health care settings, including hospitals, long-term care facilities, home care, and various community agencies, is used for clinical practice.
