Degrees with Distinction
The B.S.N. degree with Distinction will be awarded to NEPS students whose four-year Cumulative Weighted Averages are between .70 and 1.5 standard deviations above the mean of the four-year averages for their graduating year and who have four year averages greater than 75%. The B.S.N. degree with Great Distinction will be awarded to NEPS students whose four-year Cumulative Weighted Averages are more than 1.5 standard deviations above the mean of the four-year averages for their graduating year and who have four year averages greater than 80%.
The same criteria will apply to Second Degree Entry Option students, but their Cumulative Weighted Averages in the program will be based on their two years in the program.
The same criteria will apply to Post Registration B.S.N. students, but their Cumulative Weighted Averages in the program will be considered with the last five years of graduating Post Registration B.S.N. student averages.
