Business Co-operative Education Program
The Edwards School of Business offers the Business Co-operative Education Program (BCEP) for third-year Bachelor of Commerce students. Co-operative education programs are designed to integrate classroom studies with related work experience in a student’s academic field of study. In addition to fulfilling the academic requirements of the School, co-op students will be required to successfully complete two consecutive four-month work placements and a series of non-credit workshops held after admission to the program, but prior to the first work term. The goal of the workshops is to provide the students with the appropriate tools to successfully secure a work placement.
The BCEP is a pass/fail non-credit program, offered in term two of the third year of study and the following summer of a student’s program. Students are required to apply for admission to the program. Admission requirements include a combination of minimum academic standards, application documents and an interview. Entrance to the program will be competitive. For more information, contact
