VTRA Awareness Session

Goals of the Violence Threat Risk Assessment (VTRA) Awareness session are:

  • Provide basic understanding of key VTRA elements and process
  • How individuals can support the process
  • Who individuals can talk to
  • Awareness of who is doing the Violence Threat Risk Assessments

The session consists of a 25 minute presentation followed by time for discussion and questions, we usually schedule 45 min to 1hour. This is not a training session, it is an awareness of process and how people can support this work. Rob Kliewer, Safety Resources, will be presenting the session, he will have a few others colleagues join him to help answer questions and so people in attendance can talk directly with the people doing this work.

To register for either the November 17th, 2016 or March 2nd, 2017 sessions, click here and choose the VTRA - Violence Threat Risk Assessment awareness course, then select the appropriate date. (Note: Your NSID and password will be required to access the registration system).
